One year has finally passed… and Germany`s biggest Forró festival comes back… this time even bigger!
Forró de Domingo Festival 2010 !! => Hier the Festivals Program!
The festival of the most practiced couple dance in Brazil:
From 3rd until the 6th of June 2010 you get once more the chance to learn and experience Forró in Stuttgart - this time on four whole days!
In this year the Forró lessons are enlarged by more Forró teachers and a second medium level course.
The Brazilian teacher Terra and Jidu (São Paulo/Stuttgart),
Junio (Minas Gerais/Aachen), Pablo (Minas Gerais/Lisbon), and well-known Forrozeiro Prof. Evandro Paz (São Paulo) will give you plenty of opportunities to gain knowledge of different Forró styles and techniques. In addition, you can also be taught this year how to dance two other famous couple dances from Brazil:
Samba de Gafieira with Junio and Samba-Rock with Walter (São Paulo/Stuttgart)
On Friday and Saturday night you get the possibility to show the newly learned skills on the dance floor or just enjoy Caipirinha and life band on Germany`s biggest Forró parties.
We are proud to present you the successful accordionist Chico Chagas whose Brazilian melodies are currently audible in London and who will be our musical highlight on Friday. And that’s just for starters – For the event on Saturday, the famous Brazilian Forró musician and songwriter Miltinho Edilberto shoulders the long way to Stuttgart to guarantee us excellent Forró rhythms. Miltinho is one of the precursors of the music genre Forró Universitário. Life music all night long!
Sunday night nobody has to stay alone at home. We conclude our Festival with a final get-together and even more Forró…
